My Favorite Luxury Hotels in Mauritius

Mauritius is where my heart is. It is my second home and where I’m at ease.
When I'm in Mauritius, I stay everywhere and visit many luxurious hotels along the island coast. Some are overly priced, especially during the peak season months from October to April. But if you book early, you will likely find some decent deals.
I like exploring various hotels wherever I travel, and in Mauritius, I fell in love with two local brands: Constance and Beachcomber. Those two luxury brands are my top accommodation picks on the island for their locations, designs, and services.

1. Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury
Located on the northwest coast of Grand Baie, this hotel is serene. It has a unique atmosphere, authentic ambiance, and an elegant style. The hotel has a white sandy beach and turquoise water, making it suitable for water activities. We had fun water skiing. The exceptional tailor-made service elevated the experience, with very welcoming and attentive staff. The rooms are spacious with stunning views. The food is delicious too. A romantic atmosphere reigns supreme at night.
I had a memorable stay at this property, and I would gladly endorse this place with my eyes closed.

2. Constance Belle Mare Plage
A wonderful place with beautifully landscaped grounds, this property is in the gorgeous Belle Mare area east of Mauritius, one of the island’s finest beaches. A family-friendly hotel with lots of entertainment. It has a comfortable atmosphere and a lush tropical environment. Its spacious accommodations will leave you feeling relaxed and in a pleasant mood. The restaurants are outstanding, and the buffet is delicious with a wide variety. The property is also a popular destination for golf lovers, with two golf courses in the middle of a private nature park. As a perfect location for water activities, we decided to parasail and enjoy the beautiful coastline from above.
Nearby attractions: A catamaran trip to Ile Aux Cerfs and a visit to Flacq market.
3. Paradise Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa
Aptly named, this is another small paradise on a paradise island! Staying at this location, situated on the breathtaking Le Morne Peninsula in Mauritius, must be a dream for many, a gateway to a lifetime of memories. The backdrop of a majestic mountain and lush green fairways along the shoreline of a stunning bay is a dream. This property is vast, and many activities are happening around this part of Mauritius. The accommodations, food & outlets, entertainment & sports activities, service & staff are all great.
